We are always working hard to build our dojang bigger and better than ever before. To do that we require the best instructors. If you are an instructor and would like to join the Walters Taekwondo team, please complete our expression of interest form and we'll be touch!
Training from home
We are very proud of how well our students adapted to the challenge of training from home during Covid lockdowns. Some students really made the most of it, as you can see below. This is why we decided to continue running sessions online wherever possible, even though our dojang is open and operating fully.

WE EXPECT ALL STUDENTS TO ADHERE TO THE 5 TENETS OF TAEKWONDO Etiquette/Courtesy, Modesty/Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit DOJANG ETIQUETTE - Bow at the door on your way in, and out of the dojang - Greet instructors & junior instructor on arrival - No outdoor shoes are to be worn on matted areas within the dojang - Priority is reserved for higher belts in the class when selecting training equipment - Instructors expect members to try their best and to follow all instructions - Behaviour deemed to be disruptive of other members learning or disrespectful to instructors will be challenged. If the behaviour continues formal disciplinary procedures can be started - Club Uniform and belt should be worn to every lesson. Members attending advanced classes and competition specific classes should also have full WT approved body armour at all classes - Any form of bullying, discrimination, racism, or prejudice is not tolerated BEHAVIOUR OUTSIDE THE DOJANG - Members should conduct themselves in a responsible manner outside of the dojang indicative of the 5 tenets of Taekwondo - Practice outside of the dojang should be conducted safely and responsibly - Members are not permitted to practice in a manner which could be deemed as dangerous, threatening, or injurious to others - Members are representatives of the club so are always expected to be ambassadors of the club and Taekwondo - Unless members are trained instructors, they are not permitted to teach Taekwondo to others |
